Overview:
Outward has developed a transformative 3D-based visualization platform for the retail industry. We are pushing the boundaries of how 3D and AR/ VR technologies will drive the next generation of shopping experience. We are currently looking for a passionate and hands-on QA Tester that will maintain quality standards and attain new heights in terms of efficiency and performance as we continue to grow our business.
Responsibilities:
* Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
* Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
* Execute functional and regression tests across multiple platforms
* Test current products and verify bug fixes
* Identify, document thoroughly and track bugs
* Work with cross-functional teams to collaborate and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Qualifications:
* 2- 5 years of Software QA experience
* An understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
* Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
* Write concise, descriptive and easy to understand bug reports
* Shows initiative and drives topics to resolution with a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multitask, manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
* High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Desired Skills / Nice-to-have:
* Experience with some scripting or programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus
* Experience in Selenium WebDriver automation is a plus
* Familiarity with databases, writing SQL queries is a plus
* Familiar with AWS S3, AWS EC2, and Elastic Beanstalk web services
