GL Accountant

Beckman Coulter develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing. Our diagnostic systems, found in hospitals and other critical care settings around the world, produce information used by physicians to diagnose disease, make treatment decisions and monitor patients. As Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, we are currently looking for our future Senior Accountant, to be based in Nyon, Switzerland. The senior accountant will provide support to the accounting / compliance, for the GL perimeter.

What will be your impact?

You will :

• perform various general accounting processes and reconcile asset and liability accounts
• follow-up on intercompany accounts, calculate pre-paid expenses and accruals
• handle various activities surrounding the monthly closing and prepare various reports and financial statements for our U.S. headquarters in California
• maintain the database for the fixed asset system
• overall audits support, including Quality, Sox, operational, financial,
• work on any specific project related to Accounting / Compliance and Related Tax aspects

Your background:

Benefits from commercial background studies in accounting

Demonstrates 3-6 years of professional experience within an accounting environment in a multinational context

What can describe you:

You are fluent French and English, and ideally speaks another language

You own excellent computer skills, especially Excel and knowledge of Oracle GL is a plus

You have knowledge of US GAAP and basic understanding of Sox

You are able to work in a team, but also independently. You are a good communicatorand happy to participate in the team's exchanges.

Also, the position will require preparation VAT returns, so this experience would be a plus.
