Position Summary The Drop Ship Fulfillment Coordinator oversees the Drop Ship program, ensuring customer order fulfillment, payment, and returns processing occurs in a timely basis and within established standards and metrics through issuing drop-ship vendor purchase orders and managing the coordination and relationship of direct-ship vendors. This position works closely with the Planning and Merchandising teams regarding vendor and item data maintenance as well with the IT and Customer Service departments to manage ERP system exceptions and customer contact when necessary. Specific Responsibilities: * Ensure execution of Drop Ship processes from order entry into MRP system (DAX). * Assist in the development and maintain tracking tools for Direct Ship orders to track timing and progress of open orders and to ensure shipping of orders has occurred * Utilize order tracking systems to communicate the status of Drop Ship orders to Call Center teams weekly as requested, notifying teams with any known delays. * Establish & maintain strong lines of communication with Merchants and Drop Ship vendors to ensure efficient order processing and timely delivery. * Work with Call Center teams and vendors to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner. * Communicate with Merchant teams of any cost changes, price increases or packaging issues for all drop ship items. * Manage return process of all Drop Ship items -- ensure that return items are sent back to vendors and credits are appropriately applied in MRP system. * Provide weekly reporting updates. * Work closely with Accounting team to ensure that all credits are applied to vendor accounts. * Additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications * Strong time management and organizational skill set to track deadlines and multiple and complicated systems and reporting. * Proficient use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MRP and ERP systems. Microsoft Dynamics AX ("DAX") MRP systems experience is a plus. * 1 to 2 years of experience in a customer service role * 1 to 2 years of experience working with inventory/Supply Chain or formal education in Supply Chain preferred * Moderate to high level of English reading, writing, speaking, and active listening. * Moderate levels of analytical and critical thinking with the ability to identify and resolve process exceptions, complex problem solving, technology design, troubleshooting, repairing, and flexibility. * Strong time management and organizational skills required. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying time constraints Personal Competencies Global Business Acumen -- Understand the complexity of business on a global scale.
