The Walt Disney World Business Transformation department is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing large scale business strategies across a multi-year transformation roadmap. We work with partners across the organization and benchmark best-in-class leaders to continue to drive game-changing opportunities across Walt Disney World.
This Project Manager role will play a key role in the Supply Chain Transformation program. This role will support new and ongoing projects within the F&B and/or Merchandise supply chains, through active management of projects and tasks, engagement with key partners and applying subject matter expertise to plan and execute on critical components of the Walt Disney World supply chain vision.
This position is a full time project hire for an estimated 12 months duration with no guarantee of extension.

Responsibilities :

• Ability to develop, utilize, and execute project plans
• Project manage all aspects of work, especially work evaluation, tasks and timelines, and change management
• Work with clients and key stakeholders to assess work thoroughly, identifying scope, developing project plans, and executing against those plans
• Develop and present insightful analysis utilizing business analytics and data to develop points of view
• Manage project team members and stakeholders, building relationships and providing updates
• Partner with supply chain leaders and finance to identify potential savings and how to achieve them

Basic Qualifications :

• Experience managing complex projects across business units
• Strong planning, communication (both written and verbal), and time management skills
• Substantial partnering and influencing skills with the ability to work with leaders at all levels to coordinate team efforts
• Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to negotiate complex ideas into achievable results
• Demonstrated ability to lead the development of a strong business case
• Demonstrated strong business acumen, and ability to identify and utilize metrics tied to project value
• Strong attention to detail, process mapping and evaluation
• Demonstrated ability to assess the interdependencies of work processes very quickly
• Adaptable, flexible, well organized, and creative
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and to work effectively within a matrix organization and project environment (e.g. Agile)
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal guidance while managing multiple tasks and projects
• Strong sense of responsibility, independence, ownership and pride in delivering quality results, and understanding the business impacts

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of proven working experience in project management
• Experience with project management software (MS Project, Teamwork, Asana, Workfront, Monday, etc)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Understanding of Supply Chain principles and strategies

Required Education :

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, data / computer science, information technology or analytical fields such as Supply Chain Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
