We are looking for a senior information analyst who will be in the lead for the requirements gathering and will support the senior experts for the project implementation and maintenance of the Issuing back office mainframe platform, to be inserted in the organization of our Issuing Processing Department based in Milan.

Issuing Processing Department activities consist in creating new services, or enhancing/maintaining existing services to cope with clients demand in different European locations (Italy, The Netherland, Finland, Germany,..) dedicated to issuing processing, while providing third level support for running business.

The candidate will be responsible for the requirements elicitation, based on input of internal and external clients/stakeholders, in a structured manner (adhering to the requirements process). He has a leading role (accountable) in the requirements elicitation. For large projects, he shall to be able to coordinate several requirements engineers for the requirements elicitation.

Based upon the requirements, he designs a solution and determines the impact, in close alignment with the Solution Architects and Information Analysts/Engineers. Depending on the request, the solution varies between very high level and the most detailed level.

The impact of the solution also includes budget estimations which the candidate need gather from all stakeholders involved, including external suppliers. This requires a lot of teamwork and interaction with staff in other teams.

He has a lot of contact with (internal and external) clients, external suppliers and colleagues about the required functionalities and solution in a multinational context.

He will be in direct contact with the client supporting the project manager in the governance

What you’ll do?

• Working as part of an exciting team you’ll contribute to the future issuing cards payment direction for this team and organization.
• Co-responsible for the (establishing of) the requirements management process;
• Elicitation (align, advise, analyze, assort, describe & review) of the all requirements following the agreed process;
• Manage a lot of contact with (internal and external) clients, external suppliers and colleagues about the required functionalities and solution in a multinational context:
• Advice and support projects during their life cycle;
• Advise and support business development activities;
• Support the realization of functional test plans;
• Advise and support other centers on their questions (related to issuing services);
• Plan own work and in some cases coordinate the work of other information analysts / engineers working closed with the Agile team for the implementation;
• Quality control on products delivered by other team members (peer reviews)
• Assist the Project Manager, Team Managers, other internal and external (i.e. clients) stakeholders in the production and maintenance of project plans and related governance activities

What do you have to offer?

• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering, first class scores;
• At least Higher Vocational level with a relevant background or relevant working experience in the banking environment and in card payment issuing services (5 years or more);
• Deep functional knowledge of card issuance, card maintenance, interest calculation, delinquency processes, clearing, settlement and dispute management;
• Working experience on CAMS 2.6 application for at least 5 years is an advantage;
• Experience in dealing with the various card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, etc.);
• Extensive experience on Information Analysis and Functional Designs;
• Relevant experience on Requirements Engineering;
• IREB certificate is an advantage;
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving attitude;
• Curiosity, proactivity, flexibility, accountability and attitude to work in team and in a multicultural environment;
• Ability to multi-task, work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to operate in an advanced technically and fast-changing environment;
• Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously;
• Ability to coordinate a team;
• Determination and focus to drive projects through to implementation;
• Pro-active attitude, able to align with all stakeholders and recipients of the deliverables and focused on delivering the agreed deliverables in time and quality;
• Decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues;

• Experience with SCRUM development methodologies highly appreciated;
• Proven experience and Knowledge of Project Management;

• Stress tolerance;
• The candidate is fluent in Italian and English, spoken and written, working in an international team and environment;
• Italian mother tongue or good level of Italian language, to interface the Italian clients, for collecting the needs and discussing the solutions and support project management activities;
• Excellent level of English (C1). Any proven experience in an English-speaking Country will be positively evaluated
• The candidate is willing to travel abroad, if needed, for internal projects;
• ITIL certificate is an advantage
