Overview

Job Summary

Medpace is a uniquely structured and managed CRO with a large team of medical experts experienced in clinical research and regulatory strategy. The Medpace physician serves as the in-house therapeutic area director, the clinical/medical project lead at the level of the CRO, and also plays key roles in client relationships and overall sponsor collaborations including consultative services throughout the life of the project. We are growing our global team and are looking for additional Medical Directors to join our European medical team.

Responsibilities

  • Providing medical expert oversight and monitoring for clinical trials;
  • Participating in new business development through involvement in proposal and sponsor meetings as requested;
  • Contributing medical and scientific expertise and actively contribute to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts;
  • Managing safety issues in clinical trials by working closely with associates in contributing to evaluation and assessment of the trials;
  • Working in cross functional teams on all phases of the studies and trials including feasibility assessments, design processes, educational efforts, management of medical information, and reviewing and editing of medical documents.

Qualifications

You will be a well-qualified M.D. with a current medical license. Your background will be in Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Inflammatory, Metabolic or Infectious Diseases. Your experience to date must have included exposure to clinical trial research, drug development and regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical industry experience would be preferred.
