Job Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst’s role is a critical role within the NA Manufacturing Finance organization. It provides planning, analytical and reporting support for the NA operations through partnership with NA Plant, ESC and Supply Chain Finance Teams. Key customers of this process are SC Finance and Manufacturing teams.

This role is uniquely positioned to bring insight to the overall health of the Manufacturing operations against annual and quarterly financial targets. Through reporting and analysis, the role plays a critical part in gaining insight to key drivers and coordinating actions to escalate decisions and trade offs to drive success for NA Operations. Risks and Opportunities are also highlighted through the monthly process.

Accountabilities include Budget, Actuals and Estimate Reporting & Analysis, developing and operating tools to analyze change drivers, training peer analysts on financial plan and estimate processes, systems and tools. The role will also provide an opportunity to work alongside with Corporate P&A, N American Manufacturing, Operating Unit Supply Chain finance and NA Supply Chain Leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead critical manufacturing plan and estimate activities:

Activities include:

  • Annual budget build, rate analysis for NA Manufacturing
  • Monthly financial estimate process (Estimate build, rate analysis, risks and opportunities)
  • Govern accuracy of system load for budget and estimates
  • Report out to Sr. Supply Chain Leadership

Accountabilities include:

  • Process design and governance
  • Central communication
  • Consolidation and analytics
  • Reporting to Supply Chain, Corporate, and Manufacturing Leads
  • Lead NA analysis of corporate rate drivers including HMM, Inflation
  • Partner with functional peers in sourcing and logistics to deliver Total NA COGS insights
  • Partner with Supply Chain system teams to deliver monthly estimates and annual plans
  • Lead Op Unit SC teams through process maturity
  • Provide surge finance support for manufacturing initiatives

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years’ working experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong aptitude for systems and analytics
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong project/process thought leadership
  • Ability to work with and influence different stakeholders
  • Result-oriented, proactive, and detail-oriented

Preferred Skills/ Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Hyperion and SAP
  • Experience or strong understanding of Corporate P&A
  • Supply Chain experience
