Who we are looking:
Wunderman Thompson is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager will be the process lead in the Marketing Service Center (MSC) that is accountable for analyzing and documenting all client business processes required to on-board new subsidiaries, as well as tools and services into a marketing service center program. The Lead will be accountable for implementation of the changes to the field and controlling the changes are stable and performed as designed. They will directly manage onshore process engineers and indirectly offshore process engineers in the individual centers, oversee documentation and setup of standard processes, as well as manage consistent and quality processes throughout all marketing service centers globally. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong process change management experience and technical abilities, solid consulting skills, and will be proactive and work well in both team and individual situations. The candidate must be able to manage an onshore and offshore teams.
What you'll do:
- Manage process and implementation globally.
- New service onboardings and extensions definition and delivery.
- Close work with the client stakeholders on changes and intake requirements.
- Build and document standardized global processes based on Six Sigma. Ensure consistency on all existing processes.
- Create appropriate documentation (i.e. Service Playbook) as required to design and implement sustainable process and business system solutions.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies and “pain-points” to current state business processes.
- Manage In-Scope processes and help to determine out of scope processes, and exception processes.
- Manage the implementation to centers on a project management basis.
- Cooperate closely with the Modern Marketing Implementation lead (a role dedicated to implementation of marketing automation tools) on the marketing automation processes.
- Work with an infrastructure team on request form and reporting definitions.
- Manage building and maintenance of SharePoint sites.
- Design custom reports on quality and push them live through the infrastructure team.
- Design reports for internal task tracking tool and manage reporting. Present monthly reports and findings to client.
- Manage the HQ-based process engineers and work directly with the Process Specialists in all local office.
- Ensure the internally built tool requirements are updated based on implemented process changes within business rules.
- Conduct regular audits of processes and business rules to ensure they are kept current and meet compliancy requirements.
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
- Working experience with/at Microsoft is a plus.
- Six Sigma certification or similar is a plus.
- Deep process thinking with strong cross-functional integration.
- Experience with service definition and an organization-wide deployments required.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and executing change management strategies and transition plans.
- Experience in helping to structure large, complex, and transformational process change programs.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to identify problems, define problem statements clearly and accurately, and apply structured and disciplined methodologies to identify root causes.
- Ability to work and thrive in global and highly ambiguous environments with ever-changing priorities.
- Able to effectively plan, prioritize, and work on many key initiatives at the same time, solve problems and implement decisions effectively, involving the right people in the process.
- Strong project management experience. Training development, management, and delivery experience. PMP certification will be good to have.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
- Comfortable managing meetings and project deliverables for a global organization.
- Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset.
- Requires fundamental understanding of databases, data structure and how to read a database diagram.
- Must have skills to build and manage pivot tables.
- Must be comfortable traveling abroad for site visits.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams.
- Track record of successful client project delivery.
- Sales and marketing related change experience helpful.
- Team leading experience is a plus.
- Experience with working with remote teams is a plus.
- Experience with marketing campaign programs is a plus.
- Knowledge and expertise in using process-engineering software is a plus.
- Technical experience and working knowledge in Excel and SQL is plus to develop reports.
