Software Engineer: FullStack (Python+JS+DevOps)

Job Description

At Estee Lauder Companies with globally about 50k employees and over 30 brands a lot of data is generated from our supply chain and sales operations. A team of Data Analysts transforms this data into valuable information to further improve our decision making, our workflows and our processes. To support this mission, ELC want to create a new Web Portal that our internal stakeholders will use to get access to the information immediately and to create benefits for their daily work.
For this ELC are now looking for a Software Engineer (Fullstack: Python+JS) who is interested to work on a Data Science base to create such a Web Portal.
The team is organized as a Scrum team with a DevOps and CICD mindset.The mission: create a first proof of concept of the Web Portal and then continuously improve it. Specific users need to see the information most relevant for them individually and they should be able to run specific reports and perform certain analysis themselves. While UI/UX is not the most important, the Web Portal should be set up in an easy and intuitive way.You would work together with our Data Science team and in this context you are part of a Scrum team. The development of the Web Portal itself is in your responsibility.
Ideally you are interested and experienced in taking the lead in the web development context. The design and the development should be done by you and an interest to bring in your own ideas and best practices is important.

Qualifications
Very important:
- Python
- Javascript
- Docker
- API restful architecture
- ability and experience in working in a Scrum team Good to have:
- Java
- MongoDB
- Jenkins- know what Data Science is about to use it as a basis for the portal

Other:
- a certain interest in business processes would be nice to see how the data and information is connected to the business functions.
To complete the tech stack - but these are not requirements: Apache Hadoop, Bootstrap, Material design, ReactJS, AngularJS, HTML5, Graphana, elastisearch, CICD, Apache Mesos or similar, Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, JMeter,...
