Job Overview

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Operations Analyst will provide category support and sourcing operations alignment to OGS Buyers. You will deploy standard practice operations tools/ processes with buyers by appropriately matching tools, processes, and resources in the Source to Pay process to support business results. Depending on the area of support, you may be partnering with both external suppliers and internal partners to support overall Sourcing initiatives. Strong communication and change management with buyers to lead them from current customized processes to standard process is imperative. This will include consulting with buyers on business process improvements and communicating needs within the Operations team to ensure key business requirements are met. You will participate in governing standard process through reporting, analytics, and process support. Additionally, category specific support may be required. Strong communication skills, project, process management execution and great customer service are must haves for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytics:

  • Track, report, and assess key category/function metrics
  • Adhoc reporting
  • Data health and accuracy maintenance and continuous improvement

Process Support:

  • Perform analysis and testing for new/updated processes
  • Tracking of process optimization opportunities

Category Support:

  • Purchase to Pay support including New product/vendor set ups, forecasting, contract and price management, payment terms and process support
  • Supplier relationship management support including supply issue and liability/risk resolution, performance management tracking, and operational support
  • Tail spend compliance management of broader categories
  • Demonstrate proficiency in key/appropriate Sourcing systems – SAP, BEX, Zeke, Coupa, Maximo, etc.

Business Alignment:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Source to Pay process, standards, and capabilities
  • Identification of right work, right place and automation opportunities

The key stakeholders this position will be interacting with are the Buyers and Platform Leads in the Sourcing Platforms, the Sourcing Operations team, and key stakeholders in the business teams.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in preferably in Business, Management, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management. Recent college graduates accepted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management which drives to execution; financial analysis/spend analytics; process leadership; ability to manage multiple priorities; basic understanding of CI tools
