At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. As part of our planned continued expansion we require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our European and Middle Eastern customers.

This newly created role is for a highly functional position that sits within the EMEA support organization and is responsible for market insight, strategic targeting and customer support analytics. This role is a vital part of our go forward strategy to maximise market capture, driven by a well-articulated, data driven intelligence engine. This position will work with multiple SBU's and stakeholders across the EMEA Region providing robust data driven results to help target and drive key customer win campaigns. As new data, insight or trends come to market, you will be responsible for setting strategy on reporting needs and requirements to ensure Business Development teams have the requisite knowledge and background to convert potential opportunities.

Core Commercial Support:

  • Provide reporting to key stakeholders on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis for all business development metrics
  • Build forecasting models based on annual volume from applicable systems
  • Monitor trends, patterns and correlation of complex customer data sets
  • Presentation of data using visuals such as graphs, charts, tables, etc and designing and developing relational databases for collecting data
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed by the business with analysis and recommendations
  • Work with existing in house systems as well as third party solutions to design, develop and evolve tailored KPI's which refine current market intelligence and ensure stakeholders are provided with insightful and meaningful data for decision making
  • Data:
  • A blank canvas to create, make recommendations, develop and drive business decision making and provide invaluable information to support win business strategies
  • Using unrelated data sources; cleanse, correlate and work through ambiguity to create a complete picture of historical customer experience as well as forward looking projections
  • Utilising tools such as SAP / PowerBi / Tableau / Excel / VBA, create content rich, automated data driven dashboard solutions/trackers
  • Create customer and geographical segmental reporting and analysis process
  • Collaborate and mobilise using SharePoint
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on data mining products, protocols, services and standards that will expedite and support future insight analysis
  • Relentless pursuit to find the right answer in a data backed manner
  • Product Reporting:
  • Build product and component reports using accurate data to provide a complete picture of demonstrated product, performance and volumes
  • Work closely with SBU leadership to assess future product demands, timescales and volumes based on customer fleet age profiles
  • Perform ad-hoc and bespoke reporting as needed based on specific SBU/stakeholder requests

Requirements:

Critical Skills/Expertise:

  • Relevant Business degree
  • Extensive experience working with big data, multiple data sets and various sources of data
  • Strong collaborative skills with ability to influence and work cross-functionally
  • Ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional commercial acumen
  • Compliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and regulatory procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and International Trade Compliance requirements
