We are proud to support our employees through competitive benefit offerings and beyond through giving back to our communities.Responsibilities:Support Daily Operations in a Manufacturing Environment-Support Department Business Plan Deployment.-Manage a medium to large group of UAW Hourly Employees.-Train, develop and evaluate team members.-Ensure team focused on problem solving as related to downtime losses.-Develop die preventative maintenance system.Implement best practices, lessons learned and support sharing.-Provides assistance in analyzing and solving complex manufacturing problems.-Assists in obtaining resources to effectively maintain and perform operations.-Keeps abreast of current product, procedure and technical developments and trends in areas of manufacturing expertise (Stamping).-Must be able to work all 3 shifts and support project activity as required.Qualifications• Currently pursuing a technical degree (tool and die focus preferred) or Precision Machining Technology from an accredited college or university.• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale • Preferred graduation date: Spring 2021, Fall 2021 • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week• Day will always start with a cross shift communication meeting with the previous shift. This will then lead into a meeting with the hourly team they will be managing, giving them the job assignments for the day per the die.• Supporting production line• Interfacing with hourly workforce• Responding to production calls, getting the right resources to ensure the production line is moving.
