DescriptionBeckman Coulter is recruiting for an Accounting Analyst II position. This role is located in Brea, CA. This role will report into the Senior Manager Consolidations and North America Accounting. If you would like to work in an environment for a leader who enjoys working and training their team to help them grow, read on!Our Senior Manager of North America Accounting is looking for an Accounting Analyst II to help with general accounting responsibilities. This Accounting Analyst II will learn the accounting systems, build relationships with internal finance and accounting associates, internal auditors, external auditors, and associates within Danaher Corporate finance. This position has growth opportunities for the right talent on the path to taking on other responsibilities within the group of 15 associates. In this position you will be responsible for accurately reporting the consolidated accounting for both the Beckman Coulter Diagnostics and Life Science businesses.
Other Key Responsibilities are but not limited to are:Prepare various journal entriesPrepare various account reconciliationsManage accounting system maintenance for Oracle and BlacklineAssist with other monthly close tasks and miscellaneous projectsPrepare the semi-annual escheatment reportingPrepare tax package supporting documentationPrepare various journal entries

Job Requirements QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience RequirementsThe ideal candidate should be highly scalable, possess excellent analytical and communication skills (interaction with upper management), have comprehensive understanding of accounting concepts and principles, strong financial systems knowledge and have the ability to work with a sense of focused urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop quickly through challenging responsibilities and BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.2 plus years of general accounting experience.Excellent written and oral communications skills (large amount of interaction with upper management) required.Knowledge of Excel, Word, and advanced PC skills.Personal Traits for This Position.High energy, “roll-up-their-sleeves” self-starter with a sense of urgency, Strong interpersonal, excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skillsDetail oriented and a critical thinkerStrong analytical skills
