Role Value Proposition:

The Senior Workforce Analytics Consultant is a member of the Global Workforce Analytics team within HR Shared Services. The Senior Workforce Analytics Consultant must have a natural curiosity, both internally and externally, an eagerness to assume responsibility, and demonstrate ownership, growth mindset and on-going self-learning of new analytics technics. This position will be responsible for creating reports and analyzing complex information about the workforce which will require strong leadership, project management, organization, time management skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments and establish priorities. In collaboration with members of the GWA team, the Senior Workforce Analytics Consultant must be able to understand business requirements and translate them into data needs to support reporting and analysis. This person must have strong relationship management skills and be able to effectively communicate to various audiences. This position reports directly to the Director - HR Digital and Analytics, Asia & EMEA based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver information in a meaningful way by gathering, consulting on, and negotiating requirements based on a solid understanding of the business need/challenge, build the report query leveraging various reporting tools and technologies, determine appropriate report layout leveraging visualization techniques and providing insights back to report recipient
  2. Create and maintain dashboards and other data visualizations
  3. Ensure the team will meet reporting responsibilities by maximizing analytics technology and providing accurate information driving consistency in definitions and rules
  4. Work in close collaboration and alignment with GWA team to meet the teams’ objectives and to help inform and build analytics capability and data management
  5. 5.Performs special projects and analyses around internal measurements and metrics to monitor HR programs (e.g., employee demographics, turnover trends, data collection and analysis, internal and external benchmarks)

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Highly proficiency in HR reporting, people analytics and data visualization tools
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically strong Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills with the ability to manipulate data to understand overall results and trends and then package the data for consumption
  • Decisive and can apply judgment to make difficult choices; offers unique perspective and encourages insight generation in others; is naturally curious and challenges others to stretch their thinking
  • Willingness to assume responsibility, demonstrate initiative and is highly ethical, mature and confidential in dealing with sensitive information
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledgeable on research techniques and ability to structure data effectively.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of HR principles, techniques and procedures as well as how HR supports business implications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (Data Visualization Desktop, OBI, OTBI/BI-Publisher, BiPaaS).

Ideal:

  • Foundational knowledge on applied statistic technics
  • Support the development of forecast or advanced and predictive analytics.
