Job Description

Overview

The Specialty Sales Manager is responsible for selling low code, rapid application development company software solutions and services and supporting those who sell low code, rapid application development company software solutions and services, to new customers and current customers across all industry verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan
  • Actively partner with account managers to identify new opportunities for the assigned product/solution within current customers and prospects
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to educate customers and prospects on the benefits of company solutions
  • Record customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, significant conversations, customer visits or sales calls
  • Assist in the development of sales enablement material for the assigned product/solution
  • Work with technical sales team members to help customers and prospects gain a vision for using the product/solution
  • Provide experience in the discovery stages and support the RFP process with account managers
  • Ensure effective transition of new prospects/end-users from pre-sale process to implementation hand-off to account managers
  • Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasting on a real-time basis leveraging account management tools
  • Develop a continuous pipeline through partners, user groups, webinars and tradeshows
  • Evaluate new leads generated by sales associates and qualify as genuine sales opportunities, as appropriate
  • Actively work opportunities in company’s CRM and work appropriately with deal desk team and account managers to drive opportunities to close
  • Continue to grow knowledge and awareness of best practices and market trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience as an Account Manager in a complex environment
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in sales or relevant industry or technology solution
  • Proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools
  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
  • Proven year-over-year sales generation success
  • Strong ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently to completion
  • Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Excellent at gaining consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
  • Up to 50% travel time required
