Quantcast seeks an ambitious and hardworking Advertising Policy Operations Manager to lead the implementation and operationalization of our digital advertising campaign and data privacy policies. As this is a brand-new role and functional team for Quantcast, we anticipate various potential growth and development opportunities. This role reports to our Deputy General Counsel, Commercial & Corporate.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply legal team policies governing what digital advertising campaigns Quantcast can run and how Quantcast can handle personal data for consumer privacy
- Develop and refine campaign review and audit processes to streamline workflow and enable our sales teams to move with greater velocity
- Perform prospective reviews of proposed campaign parameters, data use cases, creative content and website terms for policy compliance
- Perform periodic retrospective audits of campaign parameters, data use cases, creative content and website terms for policy compliance
- Monitor and track individual campaign approval and disapproval decisions in order to inform future policy improvements
- Develop and generate regular reports of key metrics related to policy compliance for various internal stakeholders
- Identify new and innovative ways to improve our digital advertising campaign and data privacy review and audit processes
- Communicate complex policy decisions with Sales, Revenue Operations, seasoned attorneys and the company’s Chief Privacy Officer
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ (though much more welcome!) years of relevant experience, including at least some exposure to working with legal, advertising and/or data privacy policies
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to own projects and work independently with little supervision
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Willingness to change and to reprioritize work when necessary
- Ability to quickly learn new technology platforms
- Ability to problem-solve, act proactively and exercise good judgment
- Interest in improving skills and learning new tools and techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a technology company
- Experience developing and iterating editorial, content and/or platform usage policies
- Experience interpreting and applying legal, advertising and/or data privacy policies
- Familiarity with the digital advertising industry, campaign processes and related policy issues
- Experience supporting a legal and/or sales team
- Experience or interest in working on consumer data privacy issues
- Project management experience (e.g., managing workflows and deadlines for a team)
- Proven ability to maintain beneficial cross-departmental relationships
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements
- Prior management experience
