Role Overview

This position is for an Associate Engineer, disciplined in OpenGL Software Engineering, with a desire to be challenged and learn. The position will have an emphasis on the design, development, and verification of OpenGL implementations executing within multiple RTOS environments. The OpenGL implementations will each consist of a library providing applications with OpenGL compatible APIs and a driver providing the library access to a 3D GPU.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test and debug low-level software utilizing SoC peripherals to perform data exchange with discrete hardware via a bus such as I2C, SPI, or PCe.
  • Design, develop, document, test and debug middleware and application software containing logical and mathematical algorithms.
  • Perform hardware and low-level software integration resolving issues around timing, signal slew rates, device configuration, power-on sequences, data synchronization, etc.
  • Design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and function.
  • Coordinate with other project team members in the planning, design, development, and utilization of display systems to ensure smooth operations on software engineering activities.
  • Ensure company and certification processes are followed.

Basic Qualifications

This position requires Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline (STEM degree preferred). In the absence of a degree, 4 years of experience is required.
