The Collins Aerospace ell Collins Interior Systems Summer Intern Program affords students the ability to:
• Access and work with state-of-the-art equipment
• Learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment
• Work on projects and programs currently in progress at Rockwell Collins Interior Systems, which allows the intern to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic design duties that include but not limited to:
• Prototype part building, laboratory test execution and documentation
• Test fixture design and construction
• Software design and development
• Basic design calculations, coordination
• Database administration
• Hold design review of proposed designs
• Report of project status via presentations to engineering teams

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completion of sophomore year
• Enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program for the Fall 2019 semester in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Candidate is required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• It is also desirable for the intern to be proficient in C language programming.
