Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Marketing Materials Coordinator to our location in Portland, OR.

Responsible for managing the composition and content of member materials at the individual member material level across all lines of business. Responsible for coordinating and discerning stakeholder input across various subject matter experts throughout the health plan, including but not limited to regulatory and compliance, marketing, sales, communications and service operations. Materials vary by line of business and can include but are not limited to SBC's, benefit summary's and ANOC's. Performs all duties with a minimum of direct supervision.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Creates and supports management of member materials. Makes independent decisions regarding form, function, process, and content. Must self-educate on regulatory requirements, negotiate appropriate content among cross-functional stakeholders, and make best decision for the business that is within regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Responsible for and oversees content management of data transfer to contracted vendors.

Documentation liaison to IS department, Sales, Underwriting, Regulatory, and other essential business areas.

Assists with documentation vendor management.

Manages the creation of, and prepares correspondence, memos, schedules, reports, special projects, agendas, minutes, contracts, presentations, overheads, and flowcharts with little or no guidance. This may involve obtaining, organizing and planning suitable presentation of content. Routes, answers or prepares responses to inquiries with little or no guidance.

Provides administrative support to standing and ad hoc teams; schedules meetings, collects and distributes materials; develops, maintains, and distributes documents to track objectives, projects, assignments; compiles and distributes meeting minutes.

Recommends improvements in office support procedures and implements same when approved.

Establishes and promotes positive working relationships within the department and throughout PHP.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of work experience.

Job specific knowledge, skills and duties:

Proficient in documentation software and database management.

Thorough knowledge of personal computer applications (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Proven ability to work in website applications.

Strong, demonstrated, data entry skills.

Ability to audit work to achieve no errors.

Ability to translate a variety of information into required documents, defining versions, creating templates, maintaining material-specific documentation in materials tracking database, managing translations into alternative languages and formats and coordinating internal reviews, edits and approvals.

Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills.
