As a hardware design/verification engineer in Micron’s Advanced Computing Solutions group, you will work with an experience ASIC and FPGA implementation team on new concepts which will shape the future of computing systems. This role involves architectural exploration, definition and development of next generation compute and memory systems. This person will contribute to a team of hardware and software engineers throughout the architecture and development phases.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Verification:

• Understanding design specification and creating verification plans and test plans
• Creating test bench and test cases for ASIC controller blocks and system
• Debugging failure cases and figuring out the root causes independently, and working with designers to fix and verify bugs
• Achieving coverage goals before tape-out
• Gate simulation, timing verification and power-aware simulation

Design:

• RTL Coding, including block level design
• Simulation, Design constraints, Coding Style checking, Cross clock domain checking Synthesis and timing closure
• Bug analysis and fixing, Formal check.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Required- 5 years work experience in ASIC verification and RTL design
• Desired: Master’s Degree Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Desired- 10 years work experience in ASIC verification and RTL design
• Experience in developing block or chip level test benches, test plan creation.
• Experience with C/C++/System Verilog/UVM
• Excellent problem analysis and debugging skills
• Good potential and willing to embrace new technical challenges
• Experience in Verilog code
• Experience in Unix/Linux OS, and scripting language like PERL or Python
• Experience in ASIC frontend flow and related tools
• Prior experience on emulation flow and methodology (Preferred)
• Minimal travel required
