LOCATIONS - Houston, Dallas and Austin, TX

The Ecosystem Enabling Manager serves as the primary owner of ecosystem enablement activities in the Texas region. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Ecosystem Enablement.

The manager is responsible to set engagement strategy for assigned territory to evangelize and align Micron products with the key ecosystem partners. The manager will work closely with cross functional organizations to define and execute on initiatives that drive revenue growth and market leadership. Automotive enablement is a key area of focus.

Expected travel requirement is approximately 20%.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive enabling strategy for key automotive and embedded ecosystem partners in the Texas area region
  • Establish and maintain deep working relationships with partners and peers
  • Evangelize Micron products and value propositions
  • Drive Micron product adoption on reference design platforms at assigned accounts as the primary supplier
  • Understand current and emerging memory need and articulate clear visions
  • Provide training and associated sales collateral
  • Manage and support partner sponsored conferences or events
  • Establish expertise in focused segments, market trends, system architecture and memory usage models
  • Contribute to product roadmap definition and planning

Qualification:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in technical marketing, system engineering, application engineering, or field application engineering
  • Design experience or strong technical background in automotive or embedded systems is required
  • Experience and understanding of Automotive use cases strongly preferred
  • Systems experience with NOR/NAND flash memory, mass storage and DRAM memory is required
  • Excellent track record of performance against goals
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted customer relationships across different levels and functions
  • Outstanding oral and written communications skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strategic and out of box thinker
  • Experience with taking complex market requirements and translate into successful and innovative product ideas
