Financial Analyst HK/PRC Treasurer's

Job Description

1. Cash Management

• Manage bank relationship to facilitate cash management services
• Monitor the development of PRC banking and foreign exchange regulatory regimes
• Collect and assume custody of Vital Documents for bank account/ cash management

2. Affiliate Finance

• Advise on optimal capital structure and financing strategy for major projects
• Assist/ participate in the negotiation and arrangement of credit facilities, including bank guarantee facilities
• Ensure compliance with loan documents and securities requirements
• Advise the formulation of annual Affiliate Finance Plan
• Advise dividends planning and payment
• Arrange issuance of bank guarantee per Business Line request, monitor outstanding bank guarantees and maintain data accuracy in related databases
• Review debt summaries and loan databases

3. Business Services

• Advise Business Lines and other support functions on treasury and PRC forex and payment related regulatory changes restrictions
• Liaise with local authorities (e.g. SAFE) to address/ resolve treasury issues including remittance, foreign exchange conversions, foreign debt registration and payment etc.
• Perform functional review on contracts and agreements
• Monitor regulatory updates and research into specific regulatory issues
• Provide timely advice to Business Lines and other support functions
• Provide financial advice, review economics and support Business Lines in securing the required local regulatory approvals for major projects

Others

• Strictly follow controls requirements to ensure flawless and effective operations
• Assist in data compilation and preparation of Treasurer’s related reporting
• Participate in the implementation of treasury operation related process improvements for added efficiency
• Support Treasurer’s support to China growth projects

• University degree, finance or accounting major preferred
• About 3 -5 years in finance areas; treasurer’s or project consulting experience preferred
• Strong analytical skill (a must); modeling experience preferred
• Solid team player
• Good written and verbal communications in both English and Mandarin
