Job Summary

Due to our recent growth, we are in need of qualified and focused driven individuals, like yourself. The Treasury Accountant is a critical role in our continuously-growing Finance department, where you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. As a Treasury Accountant, you will be able to use your finely tuned skills to help accomplish task that are instrumental to the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing cash balances by analyzing current cash position and forecasted cash flows for assigned global entities;
  • Assist with payment processing and bank account journals for assigned global entities;
  • Maintain and control global vendor data within the accounting system, including processing new vendor request and changes to existing vendors (e.g. new banking information, name/address changes, etc.);
  • Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collections processes with both cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Commercial Operations, Legal) and Sponsors;
  • Assist in the development and optimization of Treasury systems and other critical initiatives to increase efficiency, scalability and internal controls within the Treasury function;
  • Support ongoing compliance requirements related to Medpace’s domestic and global operating model (e.g., FATCA, OFAC, etc.);
  • Maintain strong working relationships with global banking partners;
  • Manage compliance with debt agreements;
  • Review Accounts Payable sub ledger for assigned global entities to identify and resolve noted issues;
  • Conduct analyses as needed to support project objectives;
  • Participate in the year-end financial statement audit through effectively responding to specific requests and inquiries from the external audit team;
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of appropriate Medpace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines; and
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience;
  • General knowledge of accounting and treasury principles and processes;
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills;
  • Support management in ongoing compliance requirements related to Medpace’s domestic and global operating model (e.g., FATCA, OFAC, etc.);
  • Help plan and perform analyses of cash management activities
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in an accurate and on a timely basis; and
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft® applications, especially Excel.
