The Role

The Medical Manager role within the consumer health portfolio is fast paced covering a vast portfolio and a variety of consumer populations and interactions. Working within a highly supportive environment there will be a strong emphasis on collaboration with stakeholders across various functions. As the Medical Manager UK & Ireland you lead all medical-scientific activities in UK and Ireland and you ensure high quality decision-making. You are the medical expert within cross-functional teams, you contribute to the development of marketing and sales material, you give trainings to the sales force and you review and approve promotional material. You lead all activities with involvements of HCPs, with patients and patient organisations and you are in charge of medical inquiries. You maintain a close collaboration and information exchange with the Global Medical Science department.

Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

  • You have a university degree in life sciences, preferably with a Ph.D
  • You have experience in Medical affairs (Rx or OTC)
  • You have extensive knowledge on medicinal products (Rx and OTC), food supplements and medical devices
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • You have the ability to work in multi-functional and multinational teams
  • You are fluent in English.
