Lead Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

Assist with managing and overseeing daily workflow including entering, clarifying, and requesting prescriptions. Ensure compliance with company goals, policies, and all other regulations.
Assist in managing daily tasks and workflows.
Prioritize and assign tasks to pharmacy technicians
Provide guidance to pharmacy technicians on quality assurance monitoring and productivity standards
Provide recommendations for training needs and assist in developing training manuals and job aids. Train pharmacy technicians on daily tasks
Work with pharmacist/advisor, and other departments to ensure referral are accurate and timely
Assist in resolving escalated issues pertaining to Order Entry Department
Assist in running Order Entry department reports to document productivity and ensure compliance
