The Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Core Post Trade Transformation Team is looking for an individual with excellent communication and influence skills to be a contributing team member for the implementation of large transformational programs. The role is responsible for supporting the execution of a US market clearance and settlement platform migration within Digital & Platform Services line of business. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented with hands-on knowledge of financial industry operations and the complex program lifecycle. They should also have an interest in understanding the execution of technology platform multi-year projects where partnership and influencing skills are key factors.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the Corporate and Investment Bank Businesses and to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organization across Operations, Technology, and the Business.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Execute activities supporting the governance structure and protocols of the program
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of critical tasks supporting the execution of the program
  • Enforce all program management disciplines instituted across the program for strong, timely and accurate reporting and communication
  • Maintain key relationships with external and internal groups to ensure continued progress towards program goals
  • Ensure clear well documented communication among program participants outlining deliverables priorities and escalation
  • Participate in continual program review, displaying a positive attitude to the change process.
  • Pro- active management of information from internal and external teams.
  • Act as agent of change providing program visibility to senior management steering committees through presentation and dialog
  • Drive problem solving and decision making for program deliverables

Requirements:

  • College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in consulting and/or financial services, securities processing a plus
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior management level presentations
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships to achieve goals
  • Ability to manage in matrix and multi-year type project structures exampling strong influencing skills
  • Ability to drive decisions and facilitate results
  • Ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives.
  • Knowledge and experience using various desktop and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, PitchPro, Excel
  • Track record of working in a changing environment with the experience of learning, documenting and implementing efficiently
