Location: Boston, MA OR Tempe, AZ

The Internal Business Associate will assist members of the Internal Sales Management Team and Internal Business Consultants with their day-to-day activities, as well as ongoing projects. These activities include, but are not limited to: handling inbound telephone calls, follow up to digital leads, responding to the chat function on the website, running reports, conducting research, and attending all team meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities:

• Inbound telephone call support for financial advisors
• Promote the sale of John Hancock Investments products and the retention of John Hancock Investments assets
• Establish and cultivate relationships with Internal Sales Management and Internal Business Consultants
• Respond to advisor requests from the chat function on jhinvestments.com
• Develop digital leads by engaging and developing new advisor relationships
• Uncover opportunities that could enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Sales Desk
• Provide superior support by providing timely reports, conducting research, and collaborating on ongoing projects
• Maintain competitive intelligence by attending meetings, engaging other internal departments to understand John Hancock's internal strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required (Degree in Economics and/or Finance are strongly encouraged to apply)
• Ability to obtain the Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses within 120 days of hiring
• High level of interest in capital markets and sales
• Strong desire to obtain sales experience within the financial services industry
• Demonstrated relationship management skills, including the ability to work in a team environment
• Strong time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly while applying creativity
• Ability to work in a changing fast paced environment, with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
