Summary

Posted: Nov 5, 2019 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200117192 FileMaker China, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., is looking for an intern to join the DevOps SQA team and automation team. This position, requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical skills who can contribute in a dynamic team environment and work independently. The successful candidate will design and execute test cases, develop automation scripts, and ensure the successful delivery of a quality product. The position is located in Beijing.

Creative thinker, strong problem solver and great team player
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient with Linux and Shell scripting
Experience with software quality assurance, blackbox and UI / unit test automation

Description

Description • Responsibilities include taking part in DevOps on-call duties, monitoring the health of FileMaker Cloud, taking actions on the alerts, investigating and troubleshooting customer issues • Outside the on-call duty hours, you will join the automation team for unit test design and automation for a web application (React / Jest / Selenium) • Work closely with the other SQA team members as well as development team to do root cause analysis, reproduce key issues and verify critical fixes with quick turnaround

Education & Experience

Education & Experience Bachelor or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

• Experience with Cloud services such as AWS
• Understanding and application of a scripting language such as Python
• Experience with Web technologies
• Experience with React and Jest
• Experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Selenium
