The Platform & Technologies team is looking for a new sales colleague full of energy to join this booming business line to better support our Luxembourgish customers in their digitalization. Joining the field in June 2019 after a 9 months onboarding journey within our global program Sales Academy for professionals with a few years’ experience, Elien can already share : “Being part of the SAP Platform & Technologies team means you are at the forefront of innovation, guiding our BeLux economy towards a future-proof business & technology strategy. ROLE DESCRIPTION:

In a customer-first approach, the primary purpose of the Solution Sales Executive is to drive incremental business by positioning and selling SAP’s data management and platform offering into the business side of our customers/prospects to ultimately achieve their overall revenue goal. To achieve this goal, with support from the marketing team and the business partner the Solution Sales Executive will create a demand generation and business plan that generates over 3x of their quota in pipeline opportunities. The Solution Sales Executive is responsible to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy. He/she will develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of SAP's targeted line of cloud and on-premise based business solutions (Data Management; Platform; Innovative Technologies ; Analytics related) to potential customers & prospects in the Market Unit (MU). It is expected that the Solution Sales Executive be adept at creating and nurturing executive relationships on his/her own while positioning the SAP value proposition.

The position is based in Luxemburg (60%), Brussels (20%) and requires regular travels (20%).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Works with the Sales Management and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals
  • Works with the local and regional stakeholders to educate target accounts on the solution set and conducts account planning for strategic deals
  • Works to uncover and run sales cycles based on identified opportunities
  • Works with regional and local team on sales campaigns
  • Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within named accounts
  • Works to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named customers
  • Develops sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions
  • Experience selling into the business part of the organizations up to CXO level.
  • Proven track record in target achievement and in customer success.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)
  • Business fluent proficiency French and English languages (Dutch is a plus)
  • Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Teamwork & Collaboration
  • Sales Technology Solution Knowledge
