Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Technology:

• Understands the Unisys Mainframe environment.
• Understands the tools and software used for scheduling in this environment.
• Understands the software and hardware used in this Unisys environment, especially relating to batch operations and backup operations.
• Uses complex, multi-platform, multi-software, multi-hardware systems to ensure quality service and effective approaches.
• Must have relevant experience in backups and Opcon batch operations in appropriated platforms, and strong hands-on experience in infrastructure platforms.
• Works with staff, vendors, customers, and internal/external experts to improve processes and standards.
• Ensures all regulatory and security standards are maintained.
• Introduces new process improvement strategies, with an understanding of past/present scenarios. .

Skill required

• PC operation is must, Basic skill concerning Windows 7 is essential
• Basic Windows commands such as ping and ipconfig should be handled
• Able to change some settings with Windows Exploler , Skill to utilize MS Office is essential
• Able to read, update and generate both Word and Excel documents
• Able to issue Excel functions freely, able to generate Excel macro
• Able to read and generate PDF documents & Power point documents
• Preferable to be able to search Access DB
• Preferable to be able to refer to Visio documents(Job Flow)
• Knowledge on Conduct Login/Logoff operation using demand terminal
• Able to correct and generate JCL using IPF editor
• Required knowledge able to refer, start and stop Unisys jobs, understand JCL commands, issues, meaning of error and meaning of Job execution list
• Required Knowledge on OpCon commands fix the issue or trouble shooting
• Knowledge on generate, update and delete OpCon schedules and jobs
• Communication skill in, Japanese, English(Essential)
• Able to indicate operational instructions to GBO batch-Operator in English, and to be able to confirm its reply( Speak, read/write)
• Experience to have used any job scheduler
• Experience to have used any JCL(Unisys is preferable, but not to be limited)
