We are hiring an Executive Recruiter to execute on technical and non-technical leadership hiring for the company, while building and scaling the executive recruiting function. As the founding Executive Recruiter at Brex, you will be responsible for building the function from scratch and establishing the executive recruiting team’s credibility across the organization. You will partner closely with senior leadership to understand niche hiring needs, execute on senior leadership searches, and implement executive recruiting team processes. We are looking for someone that brings a high level of confidence, strong network of talent and sense urgency in the way you operate to help us build our business. You will be critical to creating a seamless recruiting process to help Brex scale their organizations.
What you'll do:
- Manage a strategic partnership in the full cycle recruiting process for our executives across the organization, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Innovate on ways to build a strong pipeline of leaders and recruit across a variety of channels.
- Creatively source and engage candidates through your existing network, external and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research.
- Work internally with Brex executives and leadership to understand positions and team needs.
- Create job descriptions, role profiles and executive compensation packages based on the position and company requirements.
- Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager and any relevant stakeholders.
- Create and implement executive recruiting team process and playbook, drawing from previous in-house leadership recruiting experience.
- Ability to partner with search firms to effectively drive searches to completion when necessary.
- Building diverse and inclusive pipelines and teams.
What we're looking for:
- Proven track record of placing top tier leadership candidates, particularly into tech positions.
- Prior experience working within an executive search firm required, with relevant in-house experience in a scaling a high growth tech company.
- Experience pitching opportunities for lesser known company brands with success closing passive talent.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear expectations, effectively influence and drive resultsHas built and maintains a broad network of professional relationships – ideally in the technical space.
- Impeccable written and verbal communications skills and ability to partner across all levels of an organization.
- Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels (web/social/professional networks/events, etc.)
