We’re looking for a highly collaborative Customer Strategy Analyst to help build a world-class customer strategy organization with best in class processes around reporting, planning, analysis and strategy.

As a Customer Strategy Analyst, you’ll report to our Director of Strategy. You will drive cross functional, strategic planning, assess and refine capital allocation, and critically assess Zuora’s install base and overall go-to-market strategy. . You’ll work with Zuora’s Executives to define, interpret, and implement financial, operational, and strategic KPIs that enable insightful, accurate business decision-making. What you’ll do and achieve:

  • Develop go-to-market recommendations based on 1st and 3rd party research, data, and analytics
  • Maintain, enhance, and analyze customer analytical record to support strategic planning and sales execution
  • Continuously develop and track KPIs that intersect customer success, product, and sales
  • Prepare customer and market analyses for executive leadership team as well as board of directors
  • Support strategic initiatives through in-depth operational and financial modeling
  • Hone your deep analytical thinking with respect to business analysis, customers, go-to-market strategy, and product strategy
  • Gain experience in broad software operating functions, including product management, operational process optimization, sales execution, and go-to-market strategy
  • Help build a new strategic function within Zuora and shape the vision which will support the entire company, from sales to product and engineering, Chief Customer Officer, CEO, operations, etc.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Team-oriented mentality
  • 3-4 years experience in investment banking, consulting, principal investing, or similar role
  • Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
  • Independent and structured thinker able to develop and leverage frameworks to help structure analysis/recommendations
  • Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams
  • Fast mover with drive to iterate
  • Experience in the technology industry; understanding of Saas business models preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • BA/BS degree
