Perficient’s APIMC (APIM and Containers) – API Management practice delivers enterprise-level solutions and services in the API and API management space which has quickly become one of the cornerstones of the modern IT landscape. Perficient has a Lead Tibco Consultant opportunity avaialble in Boston, MA. Candidates can live anywhere but must be willing to travel to Boston 25% of the time. Local candidates can work remote and go into the office one week a month.

Job Overview:

As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

Qualifications

• Overall 7+ years IT experience including TIBCO Products including Business Works, Enterprise Messaging Service, HAWK, TIBCO Adapters etc.
• Minimum 5 years programming with TIBCO Business Works (5.x/6.x) and EMS
• Must have expericne working in cloud and on-premise product & environments.
• Minimum 5 years programming with Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services.
• Experience in developing large scale enterprise application integrations.
• Ability to apply design concepts - layered architectures, components, interfaces, messaging and patterns.
• Strong knowledge of SOA principles and implementation methodologies
• Experience in ESB integration patterns, messaging, framework design including security
• Experience developing in distributed applications development (Database, Transaction Management)
• Strong ability to lead technical team and work in an onsite-offshore team environment - sharing ideas and working collaboratively.
• Experience developing in all phases of the full SDLC of a project is required.
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written. Including ability to work with all management levels.
