Description:This position is responsible for the day to day management of Production Operations in a missile production environment at Pike County Operations. Responsibilities include cost, quality, and schedule; with a major emphasis on creating and executing dynamic strategies that ensure on-time missile deliveries that meet all aspects of the engineering and quality requirements while controlling costs to meet the overall program objectives. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for providing direction to both exempt and non-exempt salaried personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures, capital planning and facility construction oversight, manpower planning, employee selection, training, assessment, work assignments, evaluations, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manager on-site depot-level maintenance, repair and overhaul activities. The position will require direct interface with program senior management, government and military officials, vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders daily.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics
• 10 years + experience and success in leading production projects and teams
• Managing production operations/events, proven capability to manage budgets and schedules
• Excellent communication skills with presentation to various size groups
• Proficient use of computing resources including MS Office applications.
• BS Degree in Business or Engineering
• Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain Special Access Program approval. Must have an interim clearance prior to starting.
Desired Skills:
• DOD 4145.26M experience
• Technical experience in missile development
• Production operations experience in application of Low Observable coatings
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and/or certification
• Experience managing 150+ employee in a production facility
