As a Business Development Manager for the Personal Loans vertical, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Credit Karma’s personal loans partners. You will lead strategic data and technology integrations that deepen our partnerships and drive a best-in-class experience for members. Additionally, you will lead efforts to onboard new financial institution partners onto our platform. You will work cross-functionally with product, analytics, and marketing teams to help shape the overall vertical strategy. Through your efforts, you will help Credit Karma deliver on our mission of making financial progress possible for our more than 100 million members. *Banking services provided by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC
What You'll Do:
- Lead communications and serve as primary point of contact for financial institution partner relationships; thoughtfully manage partner needs and requests in a fast-paced environment
- Use business acumen, analytical skills, and relationship experience to market and execute complex initiatives, such as on-boarding new partners and developing data and technology integration with existing partners
- Play a key role in guiding strategy for the personal loans vertical by providing perspectives regarding industry trends, competitive dynamics, and partner needs/priorities to your cross-functional teammates
- Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for partners and Credit Karma
- Execute cross-functionally within our organization while multi-tasking various internal and external requests
What We Expect:
- 4-6+ years of business experience, preferably in business development, partnerships, consulting, investment banking, or analytics
- Proven success creating new partnership opportunities that yielded tangible results
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills - adept at analyzing and synthesizing data to support strategies and communications internally and externally
- Can independently develop and implement recommended approaches to complex / ambiguous problems
- Ability to work cross-functionally and assert influence internally/externally
- Subject matter expertise - knowledge of the consumer financial services industry is ideal
