Our Senior Security & Technology Pre-Sales Consultant will provide security and technology consulting assistance to sales team members to facilitate the closing of sales. Additional role attributes include the ability to identify specific verticles/industries to prospect and identify specific customer needs as well as the ability to communicates how SAP Concurs’ security and technology can meet these needs.

Responsibilities include:
• Deliver technical & security presentations for all Concur solutions & services
• Strategize with sales team members to identify strategic approach most likely to persuade prospect to buy
• Maintain thorough knowledge of SAP Concur’s competitor’s products, company direction, financial stability, etc.; keep current with industry events, product offerings, etc.
• Formal mentor to other Security and Technology Consultants as requested, including having new STC’s shadow activities
• Regularly report on progress with each prospect including timely updates to CRM and other internal sales tools.
• Build and maintain thorough knowledge of all SAP Concur technology, upgrades, upcoming revisions, architecture, security audits, etc.
• Sees upcoming security and technology trends, self-educates and then provides guidance to their peers
• Regular contribution to “subject matter expert” forum; owner of one “advanced” topic
• Provide thought leadership to entire SC organization through contributions to knowledge bases, training sessions, knowledge development, weekly sales updates
• Participate in new product launches and provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Product Marketing teams as requested
• Assist at trade shows, user conferences, etc. as requested
• Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers
• Operates under moderate supervision with reviews of work
• Be aware of, and comply with all corporate policies
Education, Experience & Qualification required:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 10+ year’s related-experience in job function, related to Cloud business
• 10+ years’ experience as Security/Technical Consultant
• 5+ years’ experience in a field relating to Concur’s product lines and/or technical/security pre-sales functions (i.e. ERP financials)
• Professional security and data privacy certifications from recognized bodies including ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA and IAPP will be a great plus
• Broad regulatory and security knowledge: you are GDPR expert
• Broad business knowledge: ability to interpret and utilize industry information on competitors
• Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations – can think on feet, and alter presentation flow on the fly
• Excellent French & English written and verbal communication skills
