PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As Customer Experience & Solutions (CXS), we make the digital transformation for our customers happen. CXS operates in four markets: Build, Run, Service, and Support.

The Product Management team of the Run Market is responsible for roll-in and roll-out of all operation aspects of application lifecycle management (ALM) at customer side world-wide as well as the creation of operations content for SAP products in the Cloud and on premise.

We are looking for a Product Owner in the area of Integration Monitoring who drives the strategy and development of a central Integration Monitoring as part of our cloud-based application lifecycle management (ALM) solution SAP Cloud ALM as well as for our on-premise solution Focused Run for SAP Solution Manager. As a product owner, you are primarily responsible for ensuring the solution delivers value to our customers. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who will be defining and shaping the new solution, working closely with customers, peers & stakeholders throughout the company.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Drive customer and partner engagements including presentations and deep dive hands-on workshops on Integration Monitoring topics at events and individual customer and partner workshops including ad-hoc engagements
• Drive internal integration projects as part of the Intelligent Enterprise initiative with the various cloud LoB solutions of SAP
• Work closely with architects and developers to design and build a solution according to customer requirements
• Manage the Product Backlog and drive knowledge sharing initiatives
• Work within a global team and successfully manage multiple projects concurrently

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Solid understanding of key integration use cases, such as API based integration, integration of applications, orchestrated integrations, ... in hybrid business scenarios
• Excellent knowledge of SAP’s integration technology in particular SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP API Business Hub, SAP Process Orchestration, SAP Application Interface Framework, SAP Cloud Platform API Management
• Strong product management experience in SAP’s integration technology for a minimum of 5 years; experience as a product owner is considered as a plus
• Extensive experience with customer and partner engagements, e.g. running presentations and deep dive workshops at events as well as individual customer and partner workshops
• Strong knowledge to work in matrix organizations, collaboration across teams and with different key stakeholders across various organizations
• Open minded and results-oriented team-player with a can-do attitude and open for ad-hoc tasks and activities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of successful track record of working with customer facing teams like product/ solution management and s ervices
