J.P. Morgan provides to its clients a full range of commercial banking services. These services are provided to Banks, Non-bank Financial Institutions and Corporations. These services range from traditional corporate bank lending, capital markets sales to treasury and cash management services. These commercial banking services are delivered through the Investment Bank, Global Corporate Bank and Treasury & Securities Services businesses of J.P. Morgan.

J.P. Morgan has been conducting business in Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) for several decades. In recent years J.P. Morgan has been expanding the geographic coverage of the commercial banking capabilities in MENAT and today, we have 7 offices in the region and more than 200 professionals, including 50 dedicated Investment and Private Bankers, supporting clients locally..

Overview

JPMorgan presence has been in Turkey since 1890, when we participated in several loans to the Turkish government and invested in industrial developments. Based in Istanbul, we offer services and products across investment banking, treasury services and investor services, all part of our corporate and investment bank business.

This is an exciting role to join as an Executive assistant working with the Corporate and Investment Bank in JPMorgan Turkey. You will predominantly perform diverse secretarial duties requiring confidentiality, a strong work ethic and common sense approach. Support requirements will vary from day to day dependent on the business covered and all applicants should have a solid PA background and skill set with a strong degree of flexibility given the demanding nature of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced, proactive diary management, facilitating swift set-up of client meetings
  • Complex, high volume email management (where applicable)
  • Shared phone coverage for a busy group, involving significant interaction with clients and senior members of the firm.
  • Meeting, conference calls, telepresence set up - internally and externally
  • Finalise complex travel arrangements: co-ordination of flights, check in, VISAs, accommodation and ground transportation logistics following a Corporate Policy. Manage a multitude of frequent changes at short notice and prepare travel itineraries
  • Management of expense processing through Concur, reimbursement, personal amounts owing and account reconciliations
  • System functionality expert - utilise internal systems, complete accurate data entry into internal management information systems and responsible for accurate collation of information to senior management.
  • Become integral part of business, understand group priorities and bankers expectation
  • General administration duties (Room bookings, filing, photocopying, faxing, binding)
  • Partnership with assistants across the CIB group to provide coverage for absence where necessary.
Others:
  • Assisting with various business support management related projects (Follow up and maintain SCO driver schedule and leaves, overtime).
  • Maintaining familiarity with all policy and technology updates.
  • Making yourself available to your peers to assist with overflow, special projects and day-to-day tasks.
  • Keep contacts and client lists current

  • Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, correspondence, arranging meetings).
  • Strong PC skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Concur.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and flexible.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet Tools and Data Management Tools.
  • Understanding of global organizational structure.
  • Knowledge of Compliance protocols.
