- Oversee and lead functional team (s) in all aspects of daily BAU activities
- Promote an environment which is conducive to building a successful business by executing staff performance cycle (objective setting, coaching, development plans, talent review, performance reviews, competency profiles, etc)
- Conduct regular skills gap analysis across function and ensure all staff receives the appropriate level of training for role and professional development.
- Promote a strong working environment that fosters on employee satisfaction and team success,
- Manage the global function by ensuring the operation is efficient and adhering to all procedures.
- Foster the global operation environment running a single seamless operation by mirroring activities and practices across the two sites.
- Focus on continual process improvement and by analysing existing procedures and implementing new solutions.
- Promote change and innovation
- Drive continual operational and performance excellence across function.
- Conduct resource management process for GFM operations ensuring the proper staffing levels exists to meet all requirements.
- Manage expense budget within agreed upon targets.
- Understand and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) of the function
- Monitor and control GFM Message flows to provide the agreed level of service to global client base.
- Provide direction to maintain and improve quality service delivery to client base by managing performance to meet global SLAs for all Lobs and focus on 1st time quality results.
- Exercise effective risk management by ensuring all appropriate controls are in place and followed.
- Improve and enhance the GFM Operations Resiliency Model.
- Support and participate in the GFM Incident Management process.
- Provide Operation’s representation on any projects and ensure proper roll out and engagement with the team.
- Responsible for direct and non direct reports (both locally and globally)
- Ensure full understanding of Controlled Self Assessments (CSA)
- Support and ensure positive audit result
- Review and Reduce UDT’s
