Business Summary

The Worldwide Readiness, Assessment, Certification, and Enablement (WWRACE)team helps to deliver focused enablement programs to support the wider sales teams to execute on their overall go-to-market strategy and regional business plans. We are also driving a large-scale transformation of our sales force into a world-class sales organization. The WWRACE team aids the sales teams with the skills, knowledge, and learning tools necessary for them to raise productivity and/or exceed quota, thus increasing revenue. We guide sales in the right direction on whom to have a conversation with and inspire our sales force to be successful, motivated leaders/coaches and to succeed in sales execution and services delivery.

Job Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Manager of WWRACE Operations. You are a collaborative self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills with a background in enablement operations and people management. You have experience managing complex deliverables, employees who work remotely, analytical and project management skills with an ability to work with a larger team to assist in developing effective solutions, and support enablement programs through completion. You will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting/conflicting priorities to ensure timely results. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple internal key stakeholders and peers is mandatory. Skills in project management, reporting, and clear communication abilities are essential.

As the Enablement Ops Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders and program owners across WWRACE to manage various training deliverables for both virtual and face-to-face events. You will also manage a global team of Enablement Operations Coordinators. The work includes hotel contract negotiations, assisting in scoping events and providing budget estimates, tracking attendance numbers, host events, liaising with internal and external teams on catering, room configurations, materials, room blocks, and program flow. Essential to success in this role is the ability to think clearly and maintain professional when unexpected challenges or last-minute changes arise.

  • Manage the Enablement Operations team (currently comprised of seven individuals)
  • Provide support and guidance to Enablement Operations team to ensure they are meeting their professional commitments as well as continuing to grow and improve
  • Create and manage all pre-planning logistics and on-site program operations (including travel to on-site for various events)
  • Stakeholder/program manager engagement and communication
  • Coordinate and be accountable for all logistics associated with training events
  • Coordinate fulfillment of manuals/materials associated with training engagements; shipping of collateral, equipment, and supplies associated with the event
  • Work closely with Program Manager to design and execute enablement programs according to requirements
  • Process analysis for improvement in delivery/execution, communications, cutting costs
  • Support with the negotiations of contracts for event space, hotel lodging, outside facilitators, food and beverage, and audio/visual support
  • Work with Finance and Procurement team to add new vendors and create purchase orders as needed
  • Work in our learning management system (LMS) to publish and maintain courses, classes, training plans, and tests
  • Host virtual training
  • Document new processes
  • Adhere to global process and consistent standards in delivery of services

Required Skills

  • College degree, or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of technology or meeting and event industry experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Ability to lead, hire, and coach a team
  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and must be able to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous organizational abilities and concise and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) and computer literacy
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Organizational, and time management skills must be strong due to the variety of tasks to be accomplished and the fast pace required to deliver successful briefings.
  • Detail oriented to ensure that all aspects of the program are complete and accurate
  • Excellent teamwork skills to work effectively with Enablement team, account team, speakers, and executives
  • Professional presence and confidence in interacting with a variety of people and handling urgent situations in a calm manner
  • Ability to lift 15-20 pounds on event days
  • Ability to come onto our Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA office a few days a week

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of event management software
  • Experience administering and supporting learning management systems
  • Experience in a global, diverse company
  • Process improvement and documentation experience
