Responsibilities

The Mission

The role of Account Manager is mainly to provide key internal support to relevant client related activities. Working closely with GAD/AD, s/he supports creative briefing, and ensures strategy and creative output, cost estimation, budgeting, production schedule and campaign management/analysis in a timely manner.

Must haves:

  • More than 10-year experience in communication Agency or combined Client & Agency.
  • Experience in managing and working on an international client
  • Highly knowledgeable of the Japanese market, especially retail environments

Key Skills & Expertise

  • Integrated Marketing Communications especially in the segment of BTL (Print, Digital, Retail, B2B)
  • Proven ability to organise, anticipate, problem solve, energise and inspire
  • Excellent project management skills and leadership
  • Excellent client relationship / partnership building skills
  • Sound financial acumen
  • Basic knowledg in Digital (Social, Search, Mobile & Web) preferable

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of B2C retail promotion and B2B trade exhibition
  • Strategic planning support on retail, consumer touch points
  • Lead, Manage and direct all day-to-day activities co-working with agency team, ensuring tight collaboration and integration to delivery all projects, on brief, on time and on budget.
  • Present and sell project ideas by persuading the client of its merits.
  • Control & manage the financial health of the account.
  • Lead and inspire team members
  • Positively develop the relationship between client and Agency, whilst maintaining Agency status to “trusted business partner”.

Qualifications

5+ years Client Service experience at an Agency; Experience in Tobacco Category ideally

Fluent Japanese and Business level of English required
