US Market Access Strategy Consulting within IQVIA is an exciting and dynamic consulting practice focused on commercial issues in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry, providing strategic analyses to senior leaders at top U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Manager of Operations will directly support business operations and professional development activities for the practice. This role works directly for the Director of Operations and in support of the Business Unit lead.
Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Support Director of Operations in day to day management of practice operation activities, especially those focused on the professional development, coaching, training and staffing of the consulting staff
  • Take ownership of the administration of the project review performance process for the practice
  • Assist in facilitation of broader IQVIA performance processes as needed
  • Drive the orientation training program for our new hires including scheduling training, managing logistics, assigning trainers, facilitating development of materials, etc.
  • Assist in planning for and implementing ongoing training initiatives for the practice and in conjunction with the broader IQVIA offerings
  • Assist in the project staffing process, including but not limited to incorporating development needs of the consulting staff
  • Take initiative to find new ways to better support the development of the consulting staff
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • A strong academic record, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong quantitative skills, and be a proven team contributor
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Minimum 2+ years prior work experience required, prior experience in consulting, business or learning and development is preferred
  • Good project management, time management and organizational skills
  • Integrity and discretion in working with confidential information
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
  • Exceptional IT literacy e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
