To continue our success in the region, we are seeking a Bid Manager who will be responsible for developing bid proposals and tender responses for both direct and indirect channel engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the development of basic, moderate risk bid proposals and tenders, as necessary
  • Read bids/proposals/proposals to understand technical, functional and business requirements; apply basic best practice knowledge to develop project plan
  • Organize and lead initial key stakeholder meeting; collaborate, assign and distribute proper content to subject matter experts for completion
  • Manage online collaboration site where all relevant documents are posted
  • Update and track project status within CRM; keep all stakeholders informed of project status and related issues
  • Create proposal content
  • Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and in line with quality requirements
  • Compile all responses; review, edit, and format final proposal content
  • Coordinate proposal production process, including printing, binding, mailing, or electronic delivery
  • Utilize and maintain sales knowledge base
  • Maintain and update sample RFP (request for proposal) template
  • Consistently provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies; grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • English language skills required
  • Demonstrated success in developing proposals or similar experience
  • Solid facilitation and project management skills
  • Experience with RFP Management Software (RFPIO preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Strong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Strong business and technology acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
