About this opportunity

Data Scientist will be responsible for driving projects of mixed nature: majority of questions are on the border of clinical and business questions. The ideal candidate will enjoy building analytical solution in team of product expert, BI/Big data engineers, DevOps and software developer.

In this role, you will...

• Represent the Data Science team at the stage of discussing the technical details of projects
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical customers and colleagues from various locations and departments (R&D, IT, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.)
• Formalize business tasks and choose appropriate solution methods
• Interact with Big Data engineering team to prepare required datasets, and query data from existing databases
• Perform statistical analysis and build machine learning models, perform feature engineering

• Bring models to production, monitor their quality and do further training

Fast prototyping and innovative way of thinking when it comes to something that hasn't been done before is essential. We are looking for the person with strong analytical mindset, attention to details – patient health is a priority.

In this role, you’ll need ...

Required:

• Experience in building ML-solutions based on regression models, decision trees, time series (examples of tasks: defects identification in manufacturing, customer churn prediction and similar)
• Experience in implementing ML solutions in production using AWS / Azure stacks. Experience with both stacks will be a big advantage.
• The ability to design an ML-solution: from task setting to implementation in production
• Experience in presenting results to the customer: the ability to understand business value of model and the ability to explain the model to both technical and non-technical customers
• Excellent knowledge of Python (numpy, pandas, sklearn libraries)

• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of statistical data analysis and hypothesis testing apparatus
• Written and spoken English: Upper Intermediate
• Work experience from 5 years on similar tasks
• Technical education (applied mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering)

Will be a plus:

• Experience with distributed systems, Spark
• Experience with the Keras
• Experience with text analytics: sentiment analysis, topic modelling
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau
