Reuters Marketing team is growing! We are seeking a Corporate Marketing Director with exceptional communication skills and a passion for marketing to join our team. Reuters is the world’s largest multimedia news provider, reaching billions of people every day.

The Corporate Marketing Director, Reuters is responsible for a range of areas including:

  • Own and ensure the unification of brand with the company image, positioning, and messaging across Reuters
  • Align research, events and marketing efforts behind Reuters brand promise and a cohesive strategy
  • Support top-of-funnel demand generation through corporate-level best in class marketing communications
  • Manage a design-led organization

Accountabilities :

  • Lead Reuters brand portfolio strategy
  • Drive the unification of brand strategy activities, including creating a common visual and verbal identity and language
  • Ensure alignment in the laddering of TR-wide messaging to Reuters marketing campaigns and demand generation activities
  • Support Reuters Sales & Product teams in managing the Reuters brand by providing tools, processes, and trainings
  • Manage Corporate advertising, leveraging cross-functional teams (incl. agency partners) for content development
  • Ensure the protection of trademarks and brand-licensing arrangements in conjunction with internal Legal team
  • Utilize research & insights to enable corporate and sales positioning events
  • Manage events staff for client events

Key Deliverables:

  • Clear ‘visual identity’ embedded within all Reuters collateral, campaigns and materials Reuters-wide
  • Development of talent, including skill/capability building, empowerment, and retention
  • Increase brand awareness in key markets: primary metric measured is brand awareness (prompted or unprompted) and attitudinal attributes among key target groups

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in an analogous B2B & B2C marketing organization driving brand strategy activities
  • Experience in the information services and/or relevant industries
  • Experience working with ad agencies
  • Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting; strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across several segments and regions simultaneously
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a deep passion for talent development and leading through change
  • Extensive marketing experience in the Media/Publishing or Content distribution industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, related field or equivalent experience
