About the Job:

As a Sales Coach you will mentor AEs/SDRs in our sales organization, empowering them with the tools and skills they need to effectively and expertly generate pipeline and grow revenue. You’ll collaborate and consult with Enablement, Quality and other go-to-market teams and be responsible for monitoring agent performance and facilitating activities that promote learning and retention no matter the level of expertise the AE/SDR possesses.

Responsibilities:

Facilitation/Reinforcement
  • Facilitating Informal Learning Activities on a regular cadence to (1) Improve AE/SDR Performance and (2) Reinforce Enablement and/or other company initiatives. Examples of these activities include but are not limited to:
    • On-the-fly Role Playing activities
    • Round table discussions
    • Structured Peer-to-peer sharing of best practices
  • Issuing reminders and reinforcement to ensure AEs & SDRs are adhering to all processes and best practices, including but not limited to:
    • Pipeline Management
    • Strategies for Key Accounts
    • Workflow Management
    • Soft skill best practices
  • Conducting EOD Win/Loss Review Sessions
  • Supporting agents on the floor through better phrasing and verbiage they can use
Monitoring Performance
  • Listening to calls on a standard cadence, providing feedback to agents as needed
  • Monitoring rep performance against KPIs to identify where additional monitoring/ coaching is needed
  • Coaching the managers on being better coaches
  • Maintaining a uniform message throughout your team

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sales prospecting experience, ideally focused on selling into small businesses
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, ideally focused on selling into small businesses
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience training, coaching, and mentoring young salespeople in a constructive and feedback-oriented way
  • Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude that motivates sales representatives to hone their craft
  • Unbelievable work ethic - You're never complacent
  • Upbeat and energetic - you like to have fun
  • Sense of urgency - we’re transforming an industry and that takes pace!
  • Receptive to feedback, willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement
  • Strong written, communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with minimal direction
  • Natural curiosity - passionate about becoming a student of the industry, and refuse to take an answer if you don't completely understand it
