Job Description

Infoblox is seeking a Manager, Sales Operations to join our WW Sales Operations team. This manager will lead the Sales Operations AMS team, processes, and tools to support a world-class sales teams productivity and serve as a strategic partner to the sales leadership team. They will partner cross-functionally with the Sales, order management, Channel and IT organizations to drive efficiency and improve productivity. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and efficient while being adaptable to changing priorities and able to wear multiple hats throughout the day.

The Manager, Sales Operations will have a strong passion for leading successful teams, a high degree of focus on detail, process, enabling scale, efficiency, and customer-centricity. This position will be required to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic Sales team by driving process and improvements in our technology and field cadence. The Manager of Sales Operations will report to the Senior Director WW Sales Operations and would work out of our Tacoma, WA office location.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the America Sales Operations team to address field sales issues, PO intake process, quote support, pipeline cadence requirements, and reporting/business intelligence
  • Drive rigorous planning and execution at all levels of the organization, including facilitating account planning with reps and managers, and regional business planning with executives and the teams that support them (marketing, sales development, partnerships, etc.)
  • Develop formal reporting packages for sales effectiveness and productivity
  • Conduct metrics reviews with sales management
  • Report on the pipeline generation needs and variances for each team, while working with sales managers to identify areas of opportunity or concern
  • Document essential processes and engagement rules, and help to enforce those processes
  • Optimize the sales rep, manager, and sales ops experience in Salesforce
  • Know what quality data means and help to design and improve it
  • Develop strong partnerships with Sales, Finance and other functional organizations
  • Coordinate and actively participate in UAT with corporate sales operations
  • Train field organization on process/tool change management and enablement tasks
  • Proactively identify and analyze system and process inefficiencies and manage projects to correct or automate the process
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years experience in a Sales Operations leadership role in the high-tech industry
  • Experience working closely with Enterprise or Strategic Account sales leaders in a SaaS business
  • Strong knowledge of sales process and methodology
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred
  • Excellent mentoring, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to understand a sales system ecosystem (Fusion, SFDC, Marketo) and how they all interact, specializing in SFDC
  • Self-starter with a track record of creativity and innovation
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with great business sense
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skill sets quickly as organizational priorities and deadlines shift
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can hold a meeting with directors and VPs with confidence
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
