Job Description

As a Growth Marketing Manager, Web Lead you’ll own
carta.com , which includes the marketing website and the blog. You’ll serve as the web project manager to make sure regular updates run smoothly, on-schedule, and within scope. You’ll work closely with the design team, content team, web developers and the marketing channel managers. You’ll be responsible for for web updates, conversion rate optimization, landing pages, technical SEO, and the long-term web strategy. What you'll be doing:
- Website “PM”: Serve as the “product manager” for the Carta marketing website: own strategy, site navigation, and updates, while working closely with designers and web developers
- CRO: We believe there should be a test on our top pages all the time, and you’ll build and execute against an a/b testing roadmap
- Analytics: Report and monitor web metrics via Google Analytics
- SEO: Work with our SEO agency to further optimize our website
- Partner closely with internal teams, including design, content marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, and channel managers to regularly update and improve carta.com and the blog
- Vendor and agency management: Manage our web tools including a/b testing and personalization tools, analytics tools, online chat, and web development agency
- Brand: Help ensure the website reflects our brand, voice, positioning, and messaging
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years Growth Marketing experience, with a deep understanding of web project management, analytics, and conversion rate optimization
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS knowledge and have partnered with web developers
- Experience with owning web analytics (Google Analytics), A/B testing (VWO, Optimizely, Adobe T&T, etc), personalization, and live chat
- Experience scoping design and development resources to deliver on web projects
- Excited to work with various teams at Carta to improve our marketing website’s performance
- Experience with b2b marketing, financial services, SaaS, or subscription products
Bonus:
- You’re excited about Carta’s mission to create more owners
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Domo, Looker, Tableau, etc)
- Experience with tag management tools (Google Tag Manager, Telium, etc
- Familiarity and experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics, VWO, Marketo, and Drift
