Responsibilities

• Strengthen and maintain relationships with customer, stakeholders and team members, includes travel to customer
• Maintain scope documentation on Chalkboard
• Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Pearson Assessment Scoring platform - PearsonAccess next
• Provide guidance to customers through requirements gathering, with focus on PearsonAccess next
• Capture customer requirements using configuration tool and JIRA
• Critically analyze requirements elicited from customer
• Gather and document customer file deliverables such as student response files, item response files, scored response files, etc.
• Collaborate with customer extension BA on new gap requirements
• Collaborate with custom extension BA regarding customer deliverable file layouts
• Collaborate with other system BAs on identified gaps
• Gain understanding and knowledge of online testing system and it’s capabilities
• Validate customer configurations
• Support quality assurance activities
• Migrate configurations to customer environments
• Support Program Managers with demonstrations
• Create and use standards, guidelines, and tools for the team
• Training and mentoring of business analysts
• Actively participate in standup meetings
• Meet customer milestone dates
• Collaborate with paper processing system analysts
• Approve external process requirements documents/layouts. Approval is used to make sure that data that is used from PearsonAccess Next is consistent with these requirements documents.
• Obtain and provide solution definition, documentation, and cost for RFPs
• Attend solution design meetings and proposal meetings
• Maintain scope change documentation and cost

• File Layouts (only those that are to or from the customer) - Perforce

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and significant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or 5 years of area-specific experience in addition to post-secondary coursework.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate customer requirements, project issues, and project status is required.
• Related graduate degree is generally preferred.
