Marketing Operations Manager - Redwood City

Imperva is seeking a skilled Marketing Operations Manager. This person is responsible for the efficiency of marketing systems and processes, operational support of demand programs, and campaign production. This candidate will collaborate with demand generation, events team, SDRs, sales operations and others to drive growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical aspects of and roadmap for key components of the marketing automation platform and solutions
  • Establish, maintain, and improve upon Marketing policies and processes that ensure best practices are leveraged.
  • Manage projects and programs to drive operational excellence and business growth.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database
  • Drive successful implementation of new tools and solutions into the Marketing stack
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of programs
  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes and best practices, including lead gen, lead nurture, and ABM
  • Educate demand creation team on how to best leverage current functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand desired capabilities and determine feasibility.
  • Monitor and consistently improve lead scoring and lead flow.
  • Participate in end-to-end management to operationalize lead lifecycle campaigns including target identification, building, testing, and post-campaign reporting.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience, 7+ years, in marketing operations and marketing automation platforms or a closely-related role in marketing or sales
  • Expert level in Marketo (certification highly desired), as well as Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Bizible, LeanData, Demandbase, Integrate, DiscoverOrg and Tableau desired
  • Strong project planning and execution skills; able to prioritize and manage time effectively — manage multiple priorities, projects and resources
  • Detail oriented and analytical with the ability to quickly identify issues and drive resolution
  • Must possess outstanding attention to detail, sense of ownership, strong organization and a passion for data/analysis
  • Analytical and able to leverage data to identify trends and drive improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, sense of urgency and results-oriented
  • Experience working with and effectively influencing senior management; able to build highly effective working relationships with sales, marketing and IT
  • Must be strategically analytical and operations focused while also providing strong oversight of tactical responsibilities and able to build plans to execute
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics or Engineering
  • SaaS experience desirable
